Leah L. Burton was born in Alaska and studied Social Psychology at the University of Alaska.
She worked as a lobbyist on family and children's issues for groups such as The League of Women Voters, National Association of Social Workers, the Alaska Women's Lobby and KIDPAC. As a lobbyist she drew acclaim from Alaska's Governors and Legislators for her work on behalf of Alaska's families. Leah presented evidence before a joint session of the Alaska State Legislature that largely guided the decision to block the confirmation of Sarah Palin's State Attorney General nominee, Wayne Anthony Ross, in April of 2009. read more...
